Manildra Group of Hamburg, IA Becomes Max I. Walker Uniform Services Customer

Manildra Group

80 Employees Will Be Supplied with Work Uniforms, Facility Will Use Max I. Walker Floor Mats

August 25, 2022

Max I. Walker Uniform Rental Service announces that it has won the business of Manildra Group, and recently onboarded the company as a new uniform rental services customer. Rental Development Director Tom Brouwer approached the wheat-based products company to inquire about its unique employee uniform needs. Tom sat down with Manildra's leadership team to tell them about our company culture and history, including what makes us different from the national uniform suppliers. He and company representatives reached an agreement for floor mat and uniform rental services, and Max I. Walker Uniform Rental is now providing these items to the Hamburg, Iowa based food manufacturing company.

Manildra was previously contracted with two different well-known national uniform services providers. According to SQF Controller Mike Gregg, with both of these national uniform rental companies as their service providers, they experienced numerous issues like constant turnover of RSRs and other staff, inconsistent and subpar service, missing uniform items after weekly deliveries, and unacceptable delays in getting uniform items for new employees. So Mike decided to search out a locally owned uniform rental company because he heard they provide superior service. He talked with another Hamburg-based company who is our customer, AgriVision Equipment, and they confirmed this for him — that as an independent, local provider Max I. Walker provides exceptional, consistent service.

According to an independent study performed by the CSCNetwork, customers are happier with independent, locally owned and operated uniform service providers.

The weekly deliveries will be serviced by Route Service Representative Dylan Sehi. Dylan, part of the team since 2019, will deliver floor mats and food processing uniform items for 80 employees each week, taking the soiled items from the previous week with him to be laundered at Max I. Walker's state-of-the-art commercial laundry facility. These items will be laundered according to our strict HACCP Model Food Safety Plan, to ensure they are properly cleaned and sanitized to the customer's safety and quality specifications.
